CASE STUDY — GOOGLE ADS / YOUTUBE ADS
YouTube Ads campaign for Tosin Odukoya.
A YouTube Ads campaign managed by Alade Web & SEO, promoting a gospel worship video to a relevant, targeted audience. This case study follows our standard methodology — the same framework used for every project, regardless of service.
Objective
Promote a YouTube video to a relevant audience and increase qualified video views.
Strategy
The campaign focused on reaching an audience genuinely relevant to the promoted content — gospel worship music — rather than simply maximizing raw impressions. This was reflected in three targeting dimensions shown in the campaign data:
- Audience: a "Gospel Music Fans, 18–44" segment, with delivery concentrated in the 25–44 age range
- Topics: Music & Audio, Christian & Gospel content, Music Videos, and Religious Music
- Keywords: terms including gospel worship, morning worship, worship songs, and specific artist-related search terms
This relevance-first approach — narrow audience and topic targeting over broad reach — is the same principle we apply across SEO and other Google Ads work: a smaller, more relevant audience typically outperforms a larger, less relevant one.

Execution
Work handled directly by Alade Web & SEO:

Results
Figures below are taken directly from the Google Ads dashboard for the reporting period shown. See the evidence screenshot below for the original source.
Approximate view rate (calculated from reported figures: 617 views ÷ 4,548 impressions): ≈13.6%. Approximate cost per view: ≈$0.01, in line with the campaign's $0.01 target CPV. Both figures are calculated from the reported data, not native Google Ads metrics.
Google Ads dashboard — "NG | Gospel Music Fans | 18-44" campaign, Sep 4–10, 2026
This campaign's reported data does not include conversions, leads, sales, or subscriber metrics — none are claimed here.
What We Learned
Reading the data conservatively, this campaign demonstrates a few specific things:
- A very small budget ($5.99) can still generate a meaningful volume of relevant impressions and views when targeting is narrow and specific, rather than broad.
- The topic and keyword data suggest the audience reached was genuinely aligned with the gospel/worship content being promoted, not just a broad demographic match.
- Actual cost per view landed at approximately the $0.01 target CPV set for the campaign, suggesting the bidding stayed within its intended efficiency range.
- Mobile devices accounted for the large majority of delivery (roughly 80%+ across impressions, cost and views), consistent with typical video consumption patterns.
What this data does not tell us: whether these views led to any downstream action (subscribing, engaging further, or converting), since those weren't part of what this campaign measured.
Next Recommendation
This campaign was structured around view volume and relevant reach — a reasonable starting objective for a new or test campaign. A logical next step would be to structure a follow-up campaign around a more specific business objective, such as:
- Subscriber growth — using a "Video views" or "Product and brand consideration" campaign goal with subscribe-focused creative
- Engagement — tracking likes, comments, and watch-through rate as primary success metrics
- Revenue or leads — if the underlying goal is business growth rather than content reach, this would require conversion tracking to be set up from the start
None of these outcomes were measured or reported in this campaign — they're offered here as reasonable next steps based on where this campaign left off, not as guaranteed results.
