AI SEARCH OPTIMISATION — ABUJA

AEO and GEO for Abuja businesses: be clear enough for AI to quote you.

People now ask AI assistants questions like "who is the best SEO agency in Abuja?" and get a direct answer. AEO and GEO are the terms for making your pages and business details clear, consistent and well sourced, so assistants can describe you accurately. We cannot promise a recommendation, and we say so up front.

Built on the same foundation as SEO, not a replacement for it. See the general AI Search Visibility service.

WHAT THE COMPANIES SAY

No secret formula.

Google says specific optimization is not required for AI Overviews and AI Mode, that existing SEO fundamentals continue to apply, and that a page must be indexed and eligible to show a snippet to appear as a supporting link [1]. OpenAI says any public website can appear in ChatGPT search, and that you should not block its search crawler, OAI-SearchBot [2]. That is why our work starts with the basics. WHAT WE DO

Six things we can actually influence.

Each one is checked and reported, not promised.

Crawl and index check

  • Crawlers can reach your site
  • Your pages are indexed in Google

Pages that answer local questions

  • Clear answers about what you do, where and for whom
  • Pages for the areas you serve, such as Wuse, Maitama and Gwarinpa

Consistent business details

Accurate third-party pages

  • Directory and review profiles that describe you correctly
  • Genuine reviews, never fake ones

Prompt tracking

  • A fixed set of prompts relevant to your business
  • Mentions and cited sources recorded for each

Honest reporting

  • A trend over time, not a one-off snapshot
  • Clear notes on what was and was not measured

PROOF, WITH LIMITS

We ran the check on ourselves.

In our own test, three prompts were run against our product Seovara. It was not mentioned in any of the three answers, but a directory listing submitted only hours earlier already appeared as a cited source. It is a small test on one assistant, and we published it as it came back. Read the Seovara self-test case study.

FAQ

AEO and GEO questions.

What is the difference between AEO, GEO and SEO?+
These are terms the industry uses, and there is no official standard. Roughly: SEO helps pages rank in search results, AEO (answer engine optimisation) makes pages easy to quote as direct answers, and GEO (generative engine optimisation) is about how AI assistants describe and cite your business. All three build on the same foundation.
Do I need AEO or GEO if I already do SEO?+
Not as a separate project. Google says specific optimization is not required for its AI features and that existing SEO fundamentals continue to apply. We treat AI visibility as an extra layer: clear answers, consistent business details and tracking of what assistants actually say.
Can you guarantee AI assistants will recommend my business?+
No. Answers vary between runs and between assistants, and the selection process is not public. We strengthen the signals you control and track the results over time.
Does structured data help with AI search?+
Google says no special structured data is needed to appear in its AI features. We still keep markup accurate because it helps describe your business correctly, but we do not present it as a requirement or a shortcut.
How do you track AI visibility?+
We run a fixed set of prompts relevant to your business, record whether you are mentioned and which sources are cited, and repeat this periodically so you can see a trend instead of a single snapshot.
